::Good selections of what you need for your hobby. Very clean store. On the more expensive side. Not for professionals.

::In general I like Cactus and Cactus Hobbi. The staff/vendors are friendly and usually there's always someone around to ask. There's always a spot to park and the stores are huge in relation to how big the town Houwald is. But, especially talking about Cactus Hobbi, they keep reorganising the store quite often. Sometimes product groups get added, taken away, or switch between the normal Cactus and Cactus Hobbi. If you try to find - let's say a pan, a screwdriver, or a measuring cup - they're scattered around three different spots in the shop. Sometimes the employees don't even know anymore where stuff is and they need to search themselves. Once I even had the situation that the vendor was sure they had a specific cutter in their assortment which he personally likes, but he couldn't find it anymore. So much for the biggest issue. On the upside you can find lots of different products such as office items, telephones, kitchen equipment, multimedia devices and accessories, stuff to clean/wash and associated machines, do-it-yourself tools and items, rather limited choice on arts material, bicycles and some other bigger play/sport goods, a big gardening section, even a small corner with magazines and comics, a very limited choice on video games and devices, lamps, electronic accessories, paint, wallpaper and tiles, home network devices, and probably much more. Another thing I want to mention is that Cactus Hobbi might not be the place to find older stuff. I remember I couldn't find stuff like Audio/Video cables (for older consoles) or A/V switches. Except if they become a fad, I saw them having a few record players. Be aware that Cactus isn't a discounter, people don't consider it as cheap, some say even expensive. But it is a Luxembourgish franchise and your money flows into regional economy and projects. They rarely have any recall on goods and usually are very accommodating if you have a problem with an item, (as long as you didn't destroy it, that is, duh). In conclusion, the Cactus Hobbi is relatively big, has friendly and helpful staff who are always in reach, but whoever manages this place needs to make up their mind about how to organise this store/supermarket and let it rest for once. I understand if there are small changes like the normal Cactus does - such as putting promotions prominently or switch items to a neighbouring shelf - but not big restructurings like it is done in the Cactus Hobbi.
