::Least efficient Chinese embassy I’ve ever been in. Singapore, London and The Hague are so much better. The reservation system that gives anyone about one slot each week does not guarantee you an appointment on time. Instead you’ll have to queue outside in the rain. Without a printed appointment you’ll be turned away though. If you want to change an appointment you’ll only know what slots are available after you cancelled your existing one. That is if the system is online at all.

::New system of queuing up outside on the street, allowing only 2-3 people in a a time for a security check (which is very slow), and then going inside for collecting the token for one counter, is causing unnecessary inconvenience

::Not only was the wait extremely long (I was there when they opened and still waited >1.5 hours to speak to someone), they have incomplete information on their website, meaning I had to visit multiple times. I’ve rarely seen an embassy in this day and age so poorly run.

::Top service. I had a urgent request and they treated kindly and on priority based on my needs. I contacted them by email too and they were very responsive and provided me with clear answers to my doubts/questions.

::45 minute wait time for visa. They keep your passport for one week. Otherwise no problems.
